Mainscape’s Director of Irrigation and Water Management Jeff Snyder has been unanimously elected by his peers to the Board of Directors of the Florida Irrigation Society.
The Florida Irrigation Society represents the irrigation industry in Florida and includes nearly 300 members ranging from contractors, consultants, architects and researchers. Snyder’s two year term will begin in January.
“I am honored to be thought of by my colleagues in this way,” Snyder said. “This wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of each Mainscape irrigation team member.”
The Florida Irrigation Society is currently working with state legislators to bring a statewide irrigation license to Florida. The society believes the effort will unify irrigation standards and institute continuing education for the state’s irrigators.
