“I don’t want to be remembered for all the landscaping work I’ve done. I want to be remembered because I shared the love of Christ with everybody I met.” These are words Robert Estes spoke soon after learning he had a brain tumor four years ago.
Estes, founder of Estes Landscape and the Can’t Never Could foundation, died Dec. 17, The Newnan Times-Herald newspaper in Newnan County, Georgia, reported. As an adult, he started Estes Landscape and worked on projects throughout Coweta County, Georgia, offering steady employment to landscapers in the area. Estes Landscape made $3.5 million in revenue with 35 employees when Yard-Nique acquired the business in 2015, according to a Lawn & Landscape report.
Estes and his wife, Christi, also started the Can’t Never Could foundation to help people facing life crises, The Newnan Times-Herald reported. The family asked that donations in Estes’ memory go to Can’t Never Could foundation, which can be made online here.
