Sycamore, Ill. – As landscapers begin to think about the spring months, they can take advantage of knowing the container combination chosen by Proven Winners’ database of avid gardeners. Consumers chose Picasso’s Fantasy as their plant preference.
Picasso’s Fantasy features Snow Princess, Sweet Caroline Light Green and Supertunia Pretty Much Picasso – all of which proved to be popular plants last year with many garden centers running out early in the season. This spring, the container combination will be featured in popular magazines such as Better Homes and Gardens, Canadian Gardening, Birds and Blooms and Fine Gardening.
“We like to share this information with the growers and retailers as early in the season as possible,” said Marshall Dirks, Proven Winners’ director of marketing and public relations. “Helping them (growers and retailers) to know what to grow, and what to have on their shelves this coming spring. It is really frustrating to the consumer when they cannot find a particular plant – it is our number one question each season,”
