DENVER, Colo. – Swingle Lawn, Tree & Landscape Care has provided the Front Range of Colorado with holiday lighting services since partnering with Christmas Décor in 1997.
Swingle designs and installs holiday lighting for the premier commercial and residential locations along the Front Range. From Hudson Gardens and Denver Botanic Gardens, to communities like Fort Collins and Castle Rock, Swingle’s work can be found.
Swingle actively supports a variety of community programs and organizations during the holiday season, in addition to other philanthropic activities throughout the year. Christmas Décor’s Decorated Family is a program Swingle has supported for multiple years and inspired the creation of Swingle’s annual Making Spirits Bright campaign.
The Decorated Family yearly initiative is designed to provide encouragement to military men and women and their families who find themselves dealing with difficult circumstances during the holiday season.
In 2013, Swingle installed holiday lighting and provided gifts to the Anderson family at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, CO. The Andersons wrote, “Coming out and hanging the lights was just the tip of the iceberg…Nate goes to bed with his blinds open every night so he can see his lights.”
Continuing with their commitment to “brightening” the community, in 2014 Swingle asked residents across the Front Range to nominate families or individuals facing incredible challenges during the holiday season. Hundreds of people shared their stories and two families were chosen to receive holiday lighting at their homes.
“We are so grateful for the experience Swingle provided our family last year. It was such a magical experience for the kids during an extremely rough time in our lives and an intensive phase of our daughter’s treatment. Their kindness and generosity really touched our hearts,” said one mother.
In an effort to build upon the inspiration from prior years and positively impact more families and children throughout the area, Swingle’s Making Spirits Bright campaign is partnering with Children’s Hospital Colorado – lighting their north and south campuses with a magical holiday lighting display.
“The holiday season is not just about giving, it’s about children and making their lives more enjoyable. No child should have to spend the holidays in a hospital bed, so this year Swingle’s bringing the holiday experience to them,” says Swingle CEO and Owner, Tom Tolkacz.
