Green Industry Leadership Summit set for February

As the economy and housing market remain sluggish, the millennial generation enters the workforce and customers and prospects increase their use of technology, green industry businesses need to learn how to take advantage of these realities. This year’s Green Industry Leadership Summit, hosted by the Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association, is designed for business owners focused on adapting and thriving in the new normal.

The Green Industry Leadership Summit takes place Feb. 9-10, 2011 at the Lancaster Marriott and Convention Center in downtown Lancaster, Pa.

Led by JP Horizon's Bob Coulter, the Summit is designed to help owners and managers understand the economic and competitive forces that are shaping the green industry business environment for the next decade. Then, Bob will help each owner and their team to develop a company plan for surviving and prospering.

Karl Ahlrichs will speak about how to lead and motivate a multi-generational workforce and Jeff Korhan, also a Lawn & Landscape columnist, will talk on how to use technology as a strategic advantage. The format will be interactive to allow green industry business owners to learn what’s working for others.
