The Western Nursery & Landscape Association will launch the first webinar of its Management Education Series on January 7 with a webinar about how OSHA mandates now require businesses to comply with new regulations regarding use, storage and labeling of hazardous chemicals in the workplace.
Many WNLA members use pesticides, and store them in their place of business, and are thus exposed to substantial fines if they cannot provide OSHA with the proper documentation and proof of compliance to these new laws that went into effect in 2015. Using their experience as a case study, Matt Stueck and the staff at Suburban Lawn and Garden will share what they have done to "OSHA proof" their business. It's relatively easy to do, and complying has many supplemental benefits.
