NASHUA, N.H. – Lawn Dawg has acquired LawnMaster of Derry.
The acquisition comes at the start of the 2012 lawn care season and continues Lawn Dawg’s growth in the southern New Hampshire market.
LawnMaster of Derry reported revenue of $204,000 in 2011, and will add 356 customers to Lawn Dawg’s growing New Hampshire territory. Founder G. Talbot Woodbury, who founded LawnMaster in 1991, will retire.
The LawnMaster of Derry acquisition marks the third purchase for Lawn Dawg this year. In January, it acquired Capital Green Lawn Care and in February bought Lush Lawn Service.
In 2011, Lawn Dawg reported revenue of $8.2 million. Backed by a private investment group in 2009, the New Hampshire-based company has expanded to include branches in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts and New York.
