Road America tests Scag equipment

The maintenance team will experiment with mowers during mowing season.

ELKHART LAKE, and MAYVILLE, Wis. -  As part of a new partnership, the Road America maintenance team will test various Scag Power Equipment commercial-grade lawn mower models throughout the mowing season.

“We are extremely excited to showcase our products at the world-renowned facilities of Road America,” said Chris Frame, director of marketing and technical services at Scag, a division of Metalcraft of Mayville.

“The sport of racing and its sponsors enjoy a tremendously loyal following, and we have already seen great interest in our other racing-related ventures over the past several years. Best of all, our close proximity to one another (within one hour of drive time) creates a great opportunity for product testing purposes.”

Mary Lou Haen, director of marketing and promotions at Road America said, “With a 640 acre venue, of which 250 acres is grass which needs to be cut, we need mowers we can count on. We now have that with Scag.”
