LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Lawn & Landscape, the leading business magazine for landscape contractors and lawn care operators, has named the inductees into its prestigious Leadership Awards class.
The awards, sponsored by Syngenta, are an annual recognition of business owners, educators and others allied to the green industry who have gone above and beyond in their dedication to their field. They were presented Wednesday night at the Whisky Row Lofts in Louisville, Ky., during the GIE+EXPO.
“At Syngenta, we are inspired by those being recognized with the Leadership Award. Their passion and dedication to their customers, their community, and the green industry fuel our desire to develop new products and solutions to solve industry problems,” says Laurie Riggs, lawn and landscape market manager for Syngenta. “We are proud to partner with Lawn & Landscape to honor these professionals who continue to make a difference.
This year’s winners are:
- Martha Hill, Hinds Community College, Raymond, Miss.
- Michael Kravitsky IV, Grasshopper Lawns, Larksville, Pa.
- Gary Mallory, Heads Up Landscape Contractors, Albuquerque
- Richard Restuccia, ValleyCrest Cos., Calabasas, Calif.
Lawn & Landscape launched its Leadership Awards program in 1999, and has inducted nearly 100 people into the prestigious group.
“The Leadership Awards honor people who have made significant contributions to the landscape industry,” said Lawn & Landscape Editor and Associate Publisher Chuck Bowen. “Without them, the green industry would not be the same.”
