Makita, which produces cordless power tool technology, recently announced the new 12V max CXT Cordless 3/8-inch /1/4-inch Square Drive Ratchet (RW01).
This cordless ratchet allows users to attach or remove nuts faster. It is two tools in one with interchangeable 3/8-inch and 1/4-inch anvils included.
The ratchet features include variable speeds (0-800 RPM) for a wide range of fastening applications. The company says this cordless ratchet is three times faster than the leading competitor, while providing the same torque. A powerful motor delivers 35 ft. lbs. of torque, covering most applications. The 12V max CXT Cordless 3/8-inch / 1/4-inch Square Drive Ratchet can be used as a manual ratchet when the motor is not engaged. It also includes interchangeable anvils. This ratchet includes a 3/8-inch and 1/4-inch anvil for use with a wide variety of sockets. Users, therefore, get the functionality of two tools for the price of one.
A low profile design is engineered for handling in tight spaces and overhead applications. An ergonomically designed handle has a rubberized soft grip for increased comfort and control. The ratchet weights 2.35 lbs., with battery, for reduced operator fatigue.
