Mariani Premier Group has acquired Liliput, a Los Angeles-area landscaping company.
Liliput becomes the 25th company to join the Mariani Premier Group since its inception four years ago. Most recently, it acquired Treasure Coast Irrigation and Rood Landscape. The company ranked No. 7 on Lawn & Landscape's Top 100 list in 2024.
This marks the Mariani Premier Group’s first entry into California. The deal that was finalized in the latter part of 2024.
Liliput was founded in 2003 by Erik McMorrow. The company later expanded when Erik’s brother, Brian McMorrow, joined in 2007. The company specializes in serving residential clients throughout Los Angeles County, including Beverly Hills, Bel Air and Santa Monica.
Like many businesses in the Los Angeles area, Liliput and its clients have been impacted by the recent wildfires. The business was unharmed and the company has been active helping the communities it serves both recover from the damage and take steps to prevent future fires.
“We are thrilled that the Liliput team has joined forces with Mariani Premier Group and are committed to the long term future of the Los Angeles area,” says Bryan Christiansen, CEO of Mariani Premier Group. “This milestone acquisition strengthens our position as a national leader in the landscaping industry and sets the stage for future growth in California's major markets.”
“Joining the Mariani Premier Group just makes sense at this stage in our growth as a company,” McMorrow says. “This move will position us well for future success. Additionally, we are thrilled to be the first California based company to join the Mariani Premier Group on their meteoric rise to the top of the green industry."
Liliput offers a full range of services, including garden management, horticulture, irrigation, water management, integrated pest management, lighting, tree care, general maintenance and installation.
