Allentuck Landscaping Co., Montgomery County, Md., announced the company was selected to receive two community awards.
The company was awarded a Governor’s Volunteer Service Award by Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley and was also selected as a Recipient of the Gazette Newspaper’s Politics and Business Exceptional 53 Business Award.
Both of these awards recognize the company’s growth, good business practices and its extensive community service programs. The 21-year-old company provides professional landscape designs, installations and year-round maintenance services to residential and commercial clients.
From its inception, Allentuck Landscaping has sponsored an active community service program and, as the company has grown, so has its outreach program. All employees are encouraged to participate in volunteerism and are given many opportunities to do so. Although some of the projects involve landscaping, the company also provides alternative ways to help its community.
Bruce Allentuck, president, says, “It is with great pride that I accept these awards on behalf of our dedicated staff who have made Allentuck Landscaping successful in business and in the community. It is a special honor to be recognized in such meaningful ways.”
