Pull out your clubs and mark your calendar for Tuesday, August 10, 2004. The Associated Landscape Contractors of Massachusetts invites you to participate in the 12th Annual Massachusetts Certified Landscape Professional (MCLP) Golf Tournament and to help support education and training in the landscape profession.
The scenic New England Country Club, one of the best conditioned public golf courses in the area, is the course for the 2004 event. This enjoyable 18-hole championship golf course, designed by Hale Irwin, has the look and feel of a provate golf course and was voted one of the best 18 by the Boston Globe. The rolling hills, tree-lined fairways and multiple tee boxes give each hole a unique character and provide a challenge for all ability levels. It also features a state-of-the-art driving range and practice facility.
SUPPORT EDUCATION. Since its inception in 1992, the MCLP program has become a leader in raising the level of knowledge within the landscape services industry. The MCLP program is designed to test the skills and knowledge of the landscape professional; to have this achievement and professional designation recognized in the eyes of the public and the green industry; and to provide a means of continuing education for the certified professional.
To date, nearly 400 candidates have successfully completed the rigorous exam and have earned the prestigious status of MCLP and represent quality companies from across Massachusetts. As the program continues to grow, consumers have come to see the positive impact this industry has on the environment and understand the value of working with trained professionals. Fundraising efforts like the annual golf tournament allow ALCM to support and maintain this important program. Please participate in a day filled with good fun, good food, and good golf – all for a good cause.

$175 per individual player or $650 per prearranged foursome

DEADLINES. All reservations for the tournament are due in the ALCM office by Monday, July 15, 2004. Complete player lists are due by Thursday, August 5, 2004.
Please note that the participants must strictly adhere to the tournament deadlines, which are set by the country club. ALCM is frequently able to be flexible with deadlines, but in this case, will not be able to accommodate late entries. A reservation made is a reservation guaranteed. There will be no exceptions.
