Massey Services Receives “Pesty Awards” for Innovation

The awards from the National Pest Management Association recognize Massey’s creativity in marketing.

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando-based Massey Services has been recognized by the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) for innovation in pest management marketing with two “Pesty Awards.” Massey Services received these awards for creativity in both Yellow Pages advertising and direct mail promotion.

More than 45 companies submitted a total of 200 entries for the Pesty Awards in eight categories: billboards, Yellow Pages, Web sites, direct mail, signage/displays, newspaper, and TV and radio advertising. Winners were selected from each of three groups based on business size: small (less than $1 million), mid-sized ($1 to $5 million) and large (greater than $5 million).

“We are honored by this recognition from the National Pest Management Association,” said Tony Massey, executive vice president and COO of Massey Services. “Innovative marketing is an integral part of our success as a service company.”

The NPMA is a non-profit organization with more than 5,000 members and was established in 1933 to support the pest management industry’s commitment to the protection of public health, food and property. The winning submissions will be on display during PestWorld 2005, which runs from Oct. 14 through 17 in Nashville, Tenn. During this annual conference, Massey Services and the other Pesty Award recipients will receive their awards.
