Massey Services was recognized as “Employer of the Year” by the National Corporate Hispanic Achievers.
“We value Massey Services’ continuous support toward diversity efforts and appreciate the strides they take to provide career opportunities, especially to minorities,” said Lisa M. Pietri, President of Diversity Career Fairs. “The percentage of minorities in their workforce, the involvement they have in the minority community and the leadership they have shown in diversity makes them an example to other companies and organizations.”
The award was presented by Lisa Pietri at the Annual Diversity Employers Awards Luncheon on Friday, October 24, 2008 at the Florida Hotel and Conference Center in Orlando, Florida. Massey Services was represented by Christine Mason-Brah, Director of Human Resources; Jenny Haget, Marketing Manager; Rebecca Church, Marketing Manager; Andrea Massey-Farrell, Vice-President of Operations and Administration for Massey Communications; and Al Feliciano, Staffing Specialist.
Al Feliciano has worked closely with the National Corporate Hispanic Achievers organization for several years; he has participated in all seven job fairs held in Florida in 2008 and donates his time in the evenings working with minorities to help identify their skill sets for proper job placement.
