Jocelyne Couture-Nowak, 49, wife of Jerzy Nowak, Ph.D., who is the Virginia Tech horticulture department head, died with at least ten of her French class students at the end of the April 16 rampage at the school.
A service for Couture-Nowak will be held at the Hahn Horticulture Garden on April 24 (time to be determined) on the Virginia Tech Campus in Blacksburg.

The Virginia Tech's Architect's Office is also developing plans for a permanent memorial with a tree grove or other appropriate landscape component, but this will require some time to create an appropriate memorial.
