The Mid-America Horticultural Trade Show board of directors recently elected new officers for its upcoming season.
Randy Jasperson of Jasperson Sod in Franksville, Wis., representing the Wisconsin Green Industry Federation, was reelected president. Richard Harms of Countryside Flower Shop & Nursery in Crystal Lake, Ill., was reelected vice president. He represents the Illinois Green Industry Association.
Bill Vogel of Spring Valley Turf Products in Jackson, Wis., representing WGIF, was reelected treasurer. New to the executive committee, Barbara Rosborough of Rosborough Partners in Libertyville, Ill., representing the Illinois Landscape Contractors Association, was elected to her first one-year term as secretary.
Mid-Am appointed a new director during the recent elections. Dave Story of Bartlett Tree Experts, representing ILCA, was elected to serve a three-year term. Connor Shaw in Possibility Place Nursery in Monee, Ill. and Carsten Hoffmeyer of Hoffie Nursery in Union, Ill., both representing IGIA and John Hendrickson of The Care of Trees in Wheeling, Ill., representing ILCA, remain on the board.
