The Mid-America Horticultural Trade Show (Mid-Am) has unveiled a new interactive exhibit floor plan at www.midam.org. the floor plan was created to assist Mid-Am participants – both exhibitors and attendees – in planning their Mid-Am 2006 experience this January.

“With Mid-Am just around the corner, plans for the 2006 show are ramping up,” said Mid-Am Managing Director Rand Baldwin. “This interactive floor plan is a new and improved feature – one of many to come – that Mid-Am has in store for the upcoming show.”

The floor plan shows the 2006 trade show floor and displays the name of each exhibitor scheduled to exhibit at Mid-Am 2006. Through a color-coding system, the floor plan shows which booths are occupied, which are available and which are reserved. Visitors can choose a booth that is occupied to find detailed information about the exhibitor, including contact information and a product description. The interactive floor plan also includes search features that enable visitors to locate an exhibitor by name, by the products they offer and by booth number, making it easier for visitors to plan their trip in January.

Exhibitors also benefit from the new floor plan. “This new interactive floor plan will allow us to simplify the booth selection process,” commented Suzanne Spohr, Show Manager for Mid-Am. “Exhibitors will be able to see what other companies will be participating and where they are located. While talking to a potential exhibitor by phone, I can reserve a selected booth or combine available booths to accommodate a particular request, in real time, online. It’s a great new addition to Mid-Am.” To make the exhibit booth reservation process even more convenient, the 2006 Exhibitor Prospectus and Contract are available to download from the Mid-Am Web site.
