Middleton Acquires Florida Service Company

Sunair Services Corp. acquired the assets of Longboat Key Pest Control. Headquartered in Longboat Key, Fla., the company will be integrated into the Sunair's wholly owned subsidiary Middleton Lawn & Pest Control.

Longboat Key Pest Control has provided environmentally friendly fertilization, lawn and shrub care and pest control services to Sarasota and Manatee County area businesses and homeowners since 1993.

"This acquisition further strengthens our presence in the growing Sarasota marketplace, a market we entered just a few years ago," said John Hayes, CEO of Sunair. "As a coveted territory by many of our competitors, the addition of Longboat Key bolsters our position by allowing us to expand our service coverage in a region we already serve."
