ORLANDO – Middleton Lawn & Pest Control announced Nov. 29 that revenues for October topped an unprecedented $2.5 million. This is the first time in the company’s 50-year history it has recorded $2.5 million in sales in a single month. This record breaks one set back in February of this year when a then record-breaking $2 million in sales was generated for one month.
“This is a watershed achievement for the company,” said Greg Clendenin, president and CEO, Middleton Lawn & Pest Control. “We have planned our growth strategy over the past several years, and are pleased with the success we’ve experienced to date.”
Part of that growth strategy plan involved Middleton’s expansion last year into the Tampa, Fla., area, with an eye toward becoming the area’s largest lawn care and pest control company.
Middleton initiated its Tampa-area service last year with six employees. By the end of this year there will be about 20, and that number will increase by at least 25 per cent each year for the foreseeable future.
