MWE, formerly known as Midwest Engine Warehouse in Aurora, Ill., completed the acquisition of certain assets of Power Equipment Co. (PECO), the Briggs & Stratton distributorship operated by Atlantic Power. MWE will provide sales and service for the Briggs & Stratton product line in the territory of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and Texas that was previously served by Power Equipment Company.

We will miss the direct relationship with our west coast customers, but feel that they, and the IDN network in general, will be better served in the future.”
