N.Y. Garden Recognizes Landscape Design Instructors

Eight landscape design instructors are honored by the New York Botanical Garden for their contributions to education in the industry.

In recognition for their years of distinguished service as landscape design instructors in the Continuing Education program at the New York Botanical Garden, eight design professionals were acknowledged at the 14th Annual Patrons Lecture.

Collectively, the Continuing Education instructors have provided more than 100 years of landscape design expertise and inspiration to the hundreds of students every year who take their classes. The landscape design instructors recognized for their dedication to the Garden are: Susan Cohen, David Dew Bruner, Bill Einhorn, Tom Navin, Alice Eckerson, Jan Johnsen, Brad Roeller and Donald Walsh.

“Our landscape design instructors have sterling reputations and are widely recognized in their fields,” said Joanne Kuebler, director of Continuing Education at The New York Botanical Garden. “Their standards of excellence provide a platform of unsurpassed quality in terms of course content for our students who know the Garden is the best place to learn about plants.”
