The National Association of Landscape Professionals and American Green Zone Alliance are advancing their partnership to support a responsible transition from gas to zero-emission equipment in the landscape industry.
NALP is partnering with AGZA to promote the Service Pro Certificate Course, which provides foundational knowledge about transitioning to a battery-powered equipment operation safely and effectively.
“NALP is committed to offering members the best education and training in sustainable landscape practices, so we are pleased to build on our partnership with AGZA by supporting and promoting the Service Pro Certificate Course that will help landscape companies transition safely to battery-powered equipment use,” says Britt Wood, NALP CEO.
The online certificate course is offered through AGZA’s website and contains 14 lessons that provide essential training for landscape technicians and operations team members looking to operate and manage the full range of battery-powered equipment. The course costs $329 for NALP members and $359 for non-members, and participants can earn a certificate by successfully completing the quizzes and exam in the online education platform.
“AGZA is pleased to partner with NALP to educate and train the workforce to successfully transition to the evolving electric technology platform. We look forward to providing additional courses and resources so that the workforce can grow as technology and tools advance.” says Daniel Mabe, American Green Zone Alliance president.
NALP and AGZA also work together to educate federal, state and local policymakers on issues and opportunities related to the transition to battery-powered equipment.
