Drainage

Stormwater Management

As changes are made to a landscape, the introduction of paved surfaces and sloped gardenbeds can drastically alter the natural landscape, increasing the amount of stormwater runoff.  Excess stormwater that is not absorbed by the soil travels over rooftops, land, pavement and other impervious surfaces, picking up pollutants including oil, grease, chemicals, metals and bacteria.  NDS has recently made advancements in stormwater management with the introduction of the revolutionary Flo-Well stormwater leaching system.  The Flo-Well collects the excess water in a large plastic container buried in the landscape.  As the water in the soil evaporates, the soil pulls more water from the Flo-Well without saturating the soil and creating puddles.  Discharging the water back into the landscape maintains a clean environment by preventing debris from being released into the streets and ultimately flowing into lakes and oceans.

Drip Irrigation - Agrifimä

Agrifim, a brand of NDS, is a manufacturer of drip irrigation products suitable for new or retrofit systems. The Simple Drip irrigation system from Agrifim reduces water usage by up to 70 percent and is a reliable, easy-to-install and low-maintenance alternative to conventional spray irrigation systems. Agrifim offers a complete line of drip irrigation products such as pressure-compensating emitters, dripperlines, bubblers, adjustable emitters, non-compensating emitters, misters, micro-sprinklers and jets to meet a variety of system needs.  Agrifim manufactures polyethylene supply tubing, distribution tubing in polyethylene or vinyl, as well as an all-inclusive range of compression fittings, plastic stakes and risers, pressure regulators and screen filters.  All Agrifim products are durable and economical, allowing for a long-lasting customized system.

Flow Management - Flo Control

Flo Control, another brand in the NDS portfolio, offers unique solutions to address common problems found in water connection and control systems.  With a wide selection of products in a variety of materials, Flo Control manufactures check valves for water or air to be used for pool, spa, sump pump, waterwell and irrigation applications.  Check valves come in all connection styles, including true-union, and a range of materials such as PVC, clear PVC and CPVC.  Flo Control also offers transition fittings with the unique "Flo-Lock" design, as well as a complete line of PVC saddles featuring the "Wet Tap" and "Clamp It" designs.  To complete the product line, Flo Control also provides expansion repair couplings, unions and ball valves.
