New Bifenthrin Products Approved

TRENTON, N.J. — United Phosphorous, Inc. announced the registration of UP-Star™ insecticide products, which contain the active ingredient bifenthrin.

UP-Star™ SC Lawn and Nursery Insecticide/Miticide, a Restricted Use Pesticide, is approved by EPA for commercial non-food use on indoor and outdoor ornamentals, greenhouses, nurseries, turf on golf courses, sod farms, and ornamentals and lawns in landscaped areas around residential, institutional, public, commercial and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas, golf courses, sod farms and athletic fields.

UP-Star™ Gold Insecticide is approved by EPA to control termites as well as a wide spectrum of common pests in pre-construction, post-construction and general commercial indoor/outdoor use. UP-Star Gold can be used to control pests in interiorscapes and outdoor plantscapes, around residential, institutional, public, commercial and industrial buildings, recreational areas, parks, lawns and grounds.

UP-Star can be tank-mixed with other pesticides, including insect-growth regulators.
