Important legislation has been passed in Connecticut and New Hampshire that affects the irrigation industry, reports Rich Ali, Irrigation Director of State and Affiliate Relations. Rain sensor legislation was passed in Connecticut, thanks to a joint effort between the Connecticut Irrigation Association and the Irrigation Association.
In New Hampshire, we were successful in getting an irrigation contractor electrical licensing objective, allowing irrigation contractors to work with low-voltage electricity. The New Hampshire legislation passed as a result of the team effort between the Irrigation Association of New England and the IA.
