The new association formed by the merger of the Associated Landscape Contractors of America (ALCA) and the Professional Lawn Care Association of America will hold its first meeting during the organization's executive forum in Puerto Rico Feb. 10 to 13.
The early-bird deadline for registration is Jan. 5. The event will take place at the Westin Rio Mar Beach Resort in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. The 2005 slate of leaders for the merged organization will be introduced and installed at the Recognition Banquet on Feb.11. The event will also include morning sessions that feature educational presentations, networking opportunities and group discussions. Although the emphasis will be on quality education, forum attendees are encouraged to bring their families to take advantage of afternoon leisure time.
The learning will kick off on Feb. 10 with a keynote address by forum facilitator Sam Geist. Geist is a professional speaker, consultant, and facilitator for companies and associations in Europe and across North and South America. Geist’s session is intended to inform, stimulate and refocus forum participants’ thinking and to provide actionable strategies for the obstacles faced by many of today’s organizations.
