CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Husqvarna recently introduced three aerators into its line of commercial turf care maintenance products.
AR19 Series
The AR19 Series is available with either a 3.5-hp Briggs & Stratton or a 4-hp Honda engine. This compact aerator has an aerating width of 19 inches and a variable aerating depth up to 3 inches. The unit’s freewheeling tine system allows it to easily aerate corners and tight areas. Husqvarna rates the AR19’s productivity at up to 25,000 square feet per hour.
AR 25 Series
This model also features Husqvarna’s patented freewheeling outer tine system, which provides maneuverability and minimal turf damage around corners. The AR25 Series comes in a 3.5-hp Briggs & Stratton or a 4-hp Honda engine style with 25.5 inches of aerating width and a variable aerating depth up to 3 inches. The AR25’s productivity is rated at up to 40,000 square feet per hour.
TA36
This unit is ideal for larger residences and commercial areas, according to Husqvarna. It features interchangeable tines, a 32.5 inch closed spoon and slicing blades or spikes to allow users to choose an aeration style for their needs. The TA36 also features two independent tine rotors for maneuverability, an aerating width of 36 inches, a variable aerating depth up to 3 inches and a productivity rating of up to 2.9 acres per hour. The unit requires a minimum 16-hp engine.
