GLENDORA, Calif. - Rain Bird recently introduced the new RSD Series Rain Sensor, a moisture sensor suitable for 24 VAC residential and commercial applications. The RSD Sensor automatically measures precipitation and guards irrigation systems from over watering.
The RSD Sensor features more than 20 rainfall settings from one-eighth inch to three-fourths inch. These adjustments align the sensor according to the needs of the turf. The sensing device shuts off automatic sprinklers/irrigation during rainy conditions. Other RSD Sensor features and benefits include:
