PETALUMA, Calif. - Bioscape Inc., a Petaluma, Calif.-based group of "Plant Doctors" who diagnose and treat sick trees and plants, formulate treatments, administer them and prescribe products, offers Bio-Serum® Phosphate Fertilizer, an injectable fertilizer for trees.
The patented formula (0-14-13) is designed to help restore the health of California live oak trees and other species that are suffering from environmental stresses.
According to Bioscape, when Bio-Serum is injected into oak or other tree species, it promotes regeneration of roots, leaves, stems and other parts of the tree that have been affected by secondary fungi and insects.
The product is a systemic fertilizer that Bioscape recommends for two to four applications per year. However, trees should not be microinjected more than two times per year. Instead, a mix of microinjection and soil applications can be used as Bioscape said soil applications can be made four to six times per year.
