PONCA CITY, Okla. - Mertz Inc. manufactures the Boxer, a joystick-controlled, stand-on or walk-behind mini-skid/steer loader on widening rubber tracks.
The unit features a 24-hp air-cooled Honda engine, Bridgestone 7-inch rubber tracks with 3.0-psi ground pressure, a hydraulic piloted joystick for steering, a mechanical joystick for boom and bucket operation and a variable indexed throttle.
With an overall height 48 inches, the Boxer features an operating height of 95.85 inches and a dump height, with a standard bucket, of 57.18 inches.
The Boxer’s weight without attachments is 1536 pounds, and the unit has a rated operating capacity, with a 200-pound operator, of 550 pounds.
Other features include:
- Ground clearance of 7 inches in front and 5 inches in rear;
- Ground speed of 0 to 3.4 mph on a two-speed system;
- Overall length (without attachments) of 68 inches;
- Overall width (with hydraulic widening) of 29.5 inches retracted and 41.5 inches widened;
- Dump angle of 45 degrees; and
- Reach (full raised with standard bucket) of 29.12 inches.
