DALLAS - Weathermatic, an international irrigation manufacturer, has announced the availability of its new Nitro series valves - a line of 1-inch residential valves.
The release of this new PVC-bodied valve line follows three years of development and testing and a recently completed field-test in six states. The 150 psi rated Nitro valves will be available in multiple configurations including slip x slip, FIP x FIP, and male x barb models all with optional flow control.
The first shipments of the slip x slip and male x barb models of the Nitro valve will begin shipping this summer, according to Weathermatic. The company will be announcing the availability dates for the other configurations later this year.
