After receiving 4,200 name submissions, Toro has chosen a winning name for its new stand-on mower as a result of its Name It & Claim it awards competition.
The winning name is GrandStand.
“This name says everything,” says Edric Funk, Toro’s marketing manager for Landscape Contractor Equipment products. “We wanted a name compatible with the Toro brand, as well as something that could capture the essence of the product. We also wanted something short and snappy that could roll off the tongue.”
