New Water-Based Formulation of Dimension Available in California

Dimension 2EW specialty herbicide, a new sprayable version of Dow AgroSciences’ popular Dimension herbicide, is now registered for commercial use in California.

Dimension 2EW is a new formulation that offers early postemergence control of crabgrass, preemergence control of other grassy and broadleaf weeds and can now be sprayed over the top of landscape ornamentals. This new formulation provides application flexibility for users on almost any turf or landscape site, including established lawns, golf courses, commercial and residential properties, sod farms, noncropland and industrial sites.

Dimension 2EW, which contains the active ingredient dithiopyr, is a water-based formulation that’s available in half-gallon, 2½-gallon and 30-gallon containers. It has 2 pounds of active ingredient per gallon versus the 1 pound in the EC formulation and is lower in odor than other formulations.
