Turf Holdings, Inc., the franchiser of Weed Man in the United States, recently anounced the sale of two new franchises. The company now has 79 U.S. franchises and 13 sub-franchises.
One new franchise was sold to Lonnie and Jef Todd in Murfreesboro, Tenn. the Knoxville, Tenn. franchise was sold to Brian and Jennier Light and Dan and Debbie Myers.
Weed Man started in Toronto in 1970 and began selling Canadian franchises in 1976. By the mid-eighties, all Canadian franchises were sold.
In 1996, Turf Holdings began selling Weed Man sub-franchises in the U.S. The sub-franchisers have exclusive rights to sell franchises ni their geographical terrritories.
All Weed Man franchises provide similar commercial and residential services. They include weed and pest control, fertilization, aeration, liming and seeding.
