Returns to GIE Media’s Lawn & Landscape Media Group

CLEVELAND, Ohio – GIE Media, a leading business-to-business publisher, recently announced that it has tapped its own Cindy Code, former editor and publisher of Lawn & Landscape magazine, to serve as editorial director for the Lawn & Landscape Media Group. With almost 20 years of industry experience and leadership, Code will guide the editorial direction of the landscape industry’s foremost publications, including Lawn & Landscape, Commercial Dealer, GIE Media’s Snow Magazine, and Interior Landscape Business.

Code joined GIE Media in 1987 upon graduation from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism. She has held several key positions with Lawn & Landscape including editor and group publisher, and most recently account manager for Lawn & Landscape’s major specialty chemical accounts, deepening her insights into this critical sector. 

Code is an award-winning journalist, honored by the Turf & Ornamental Communicators Association, the American Society of Business Press Editors and the Cleveland Press Club for her numerous contributions to the field. She is also an active member of several industry organizations including vice chair of the communications committee for Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment (RISE) and first vice president of Project EverGreen.
