North American Green Celebrates 20th Anniversary

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Rolled erosion control products manufacturer North American Green is celebrating 20 years of business success this year. While reflecting on accomplishments that have led to an industry-leading position, North American Green also looks forward to things to come.

North American Green was founded in 1985 in Evansville, Ind., with a mission, “To supply our customers with the highest quality rolled erosion control products and to support those products with state-of-the-art technical and selling information.” Since then, the company’s product line has increased dramatically, and the technologies and services available to support customers and products have been enhanced, but the founding mission has remained constant.

The company plans to aggressively grow their core business, enhance existing strong relationships and expand into new markets by building on past efforts that have made them the industry leader. North American Green’s recent partnership with The Tensar Corp. will also provide additional opportunities for future growth. Because of the companies’ complementary product lines and similar corporate philosophies, customers will be able to take advantage of streamlined project design and product specification services in the future.

North American Green President Jim Niemeier is looking forward to new possibilities for the company. “From our new manufacturing facility with dramatically increased production capabilities, to our ECMDS (Erosion Control Materials Design Software), to our strategic partnership with Tensar, to our constant quest to push the limits on product performance, who knows where the next 20 years will lead us?” he said.
