Target Specialty Products Hires Account Representative
Chuck Dal Pozzo is the new account representative for Target Specialty Products. He is working with golf course superintendents and landscape accounts in northern Los Angeles, as well as Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.

Dal Pozzo, a licensed pest control advisor, has over 25 years experience in the turf and ornamental industry. Before joining Target, he worked for Monterey Agricultural Resources.
His professional affiliations include the California Association of Pest Control Advisors, the Sports Turf Managers Association and the Southern California Golf Course Superintendent’s Association.

Cyber-Rain Names Chief Marketing Officer
Green industry veteran Judy Guido joined Los Angeles-based Cyber-Rain's management team as its chief marketing officer.
The announcement comes a month after the company launched its Cyber-Rain XCI product, a residential irrigation system.
Bringing two decades of experience in the green industry to the position, Guido served as a marketing, business development, sales and strategy executive at a number of the country s Fortune 500 and largest green landscape management and development companies. She served as CMO and VP of Valley Crest, the nation's largest privately held landscape management and development company. She also served as the Senior Marketing, Sales and Strategy executive with Service Master, some of whose brands include TruGreen-Chemlawn, TruGreen-Landcare and Terminix. Guido was one of four executives who took LandCare USA public on the New York Stock Exchange and was noted as the highest-ranking woman in the green industry.

Bartlett Tree Experts Names District Manager for Western Canada
The F.A. Bartlett Tree Expert Co. promoted Noah Violini to district manager of Western Canada. In this role, Violini will manage Bartlett’s offices in Vancouver and Victoria while working to further expand the company’s presence in these areas.

Violini has over 20 years experience in the arboriculture industry. He was the owner of Mt. View Tree Service in Victoria, which he sold to Bartlett in 2004. Since joining Bartlett, his sales and business efforts have helped the Company establish greater market penetration in Western Canada. Locally, he has earned a reputation for building strong relationships with his customers and in the communities he serves.

As a member of the International Society of Arboriculture, Violini promotes responsible tree care practices and is committed to protecting trees and preserving a healthy environment. With a post secondary education in business and botany, he understands the importance of education in the arboricultural field and shares his knowledge with future arborists through speaking opportunities at local colleges and horticultural centers.
Violini lives in Victoria with his wife and son. He has an active family life and coaches his son’s lacrosse and soccer teams. His love of trees is evident in his personal life as well, where he enjoys hobbies including woodworking, milling and remodeling of older homes.
Ruppert Nurseries Welcomes Back Branch Manager, Adds to Tree Growing Division
Ruppert Nurseries announced return of Fred Key to its Virginia Landscape Management branch in Gainesville. Fred has assumed the role of Virginia Landscape Management branch manager.
Key, a resident of Haymarket, Virginia, has been in the landscape industry for over 15 years, including six years with Ruppert Landscape Company, overseeing landscape construction and installation operations.
As branch manager, Key supervises all landscape management operations at the branch. His responsibilities include planning, budgeting, personnel development, systems control and maintaining customer relations. Key holds a bachelors degree in accounting from Salisbury State University in Salisbury, Md.
"Fred’s history of successful leadership with our organization makes him a perfect fit for our Virginia operation,” says President Chris Davitt. "We are excited that he has returned to Ruppert and look forward to the positive impact his expertise will have for years to come.”
Ruppert also welcomed David DiPietro to its tree growing division in Laytonsville, Md. DiPietro, as large tree installation Specialist, supervises all large tree spade services, including planting, transplanting and moving trees with root balls ranging from 24 inches and larger. He will focus on expanding customer services, providing options to economically install or relocate plant material.
DiPietro, an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist, has been in the arboriculture field for over 10 years. He is a licensed tree expert in Maryland and holds a bachelors degree in forestry from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colo.
Ruppert Nurseries provides commercial landscape installation and landscape management services in the mid-Atlantic and Atlanta regions and is also a 475-acre wholesale tree nursery in Montgomery County, Md.
