FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – In its ongoing efforts to help commercial truck and transportation equipment industry professionals build their businesses while enhancing their industry knowledge, the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) recently published its Spring/Summer 2005 Work Truck Industry Resources catalog. The Catalog complements the Association’s online “Storefront” that provides publications and materials descriptions, pricing and online ordering capability.
The Catalog describes and offers an array of products, including: buyers’ guides and directories, news publications, customized databases, technical information and vehicle certification, regulatory and legislative information, quality and shop safety resources, and business management and market data tools.
The Catalog features the new 2005 Manufacturer Employee Compensation Survey Report that provides important benchmarking data to help manufacturers determine the competitiveness of their compensation packages and whether they are reasonable within the constraints of the Internal Revenue Code.
Several new editions of existing products are featured, as well, such as the NTEA Membership Roster & Product Directory and the Annual Report 2004 – State of the Association.
Some products under development include the NTEA’s Sales, Productivity, Earnings & Quality (SPEQ) Plan Manual, and the 2005 Distributor PROFIT Survey Report, which will be available by fall of 2005. The NTEA is currently conducting a Manufacturer Financial Performance Survye that will culminate in a new industry resource this fall, as well.
The Catalog outlines services that the NTEA provides its members and the industry at large, including: technical and engineering support, ongoing market data and research initiatives, government relations and advocacy, and advertising opportunities. Also provided in the Catalog is information about exclusive industry events produced by the NTEA, including its annual Truck Product conference, Economic Outlook Conference and The Work Truck Show.
NTEA members receive many of the publications listed in the Catalog as a benefit of membership or at a heavily discounted rate. Nomembers may also purchase NTEA publications and materials.
