The New York State Turfgrass Association (NYSTA) is making preparations for its 28th annual Turf and Grounds Exposition, scheduled Nov. 4-6 in Rochester, N.Y.
This year’s theme for the expo – planned in cooperation with Cornell University – is “Today’s Challenges, Tomorrow’s Opportunities.”
Ronald Dodson, president and CEO of Audubon International, will be the keynote presenter. More than 60 technical and business sessions will address all aspects of the green industry, including research updates, golf and sports turf care, equipment management and lawn, landscape and grounds maintenance.
The show, which will feature 325 exhibitor booths, is expected to draw more than 1,800 attendees. The event will also offer educational opportunities for industry professionals, including New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) recertification credits.
Attendees will also have socializing and networking possibilities at the variety of receptions scheduled throughout the three-day event. Other planned activities include lunch at the trade show for all attendees (two days), an awards ceremony and the NYSTA Annual Meeting.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 4, with the first session starting at 8:30 that same morning. The expo will end at 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 6.
