LIBERTY, N.Y. – The New York State Turfgrass Association is teaming up with a country club and golf association to sponsor an event intended to raise funds to benefit the environment.
The 4th Annual Sullivan County Challenge fundraising tournament will be held at Grossinger Country Club, in Liberty, New York, on Aug. 20. Joining the NYSTA as co-sponsors of four-man handicap scramble tournament are the Grossinger Country Club and Hudson Valley Golf Course Superintendents Association.
Registration is $100, covering the full day’s events and fees.
Those who sponsor the event are offered exposure through signage, announcements and tournament publicity. All proceeds from the tournament will be donated to turfgrass environmental research.
