The Ohio Lawn Care Association recently elected new officers and trustees to its 2003 leadership. Officers serve for one year, and trustees serve three-year terms.
OLCA offers a variety of benefits to its members, including professional field days in Wooster and Columbus, safety training and education, vendor discounts and a worker’s comp group rating program, explained Kim Kellogg, newly elected president of the association. The association is also highly active in legislative matters, co-sponsoring the largest turf conference in the United States in Columbus.
“To do this successfully, it takes the cooperation and vision of the OLCA members, the board and its officers,” Kellogg noted. “With the leadership recently elected by the nominations committee, OLCA can look forward to a healthy future.”
And the following officers will lead the state association’s future endeavors:
President: Kim Kellogg, Grasshopper Property Maintenance, Millersburg, Ohio
Vice President: Dennis Imler, Lawn Doctor of Dublin-Powell-Worthington, Ohio
Secretary/Treasurer: Jeff Bisker, Your Lawn, Inc., Ashville, Ohio
Immediate Past President: Fred Schillinger, Turf Doctor, Mt. Vernon, Ohio
The following new trustees began serving their terms in March:
Board of Directors: Tim Suter, Helena Chemical, Toledo, Ohio
Chairman/Treasurer: John Buddle, Hayward Distributing Co., Columbus Ohio
