The North American Equipment Dealers Association (NAEDA) has announced that George Fackler was elected chairman of its OPE Dealer Council.
Fackler owns Fackler Country Gardens, a two-store operation with locations in Granville and Mansfield, Ohio. A third store will open later this year. The dealership’s equipment lines include Kubota, Scag, Exmark, Honda, and STIHL. Fackler is a member of the Ohio-Michigan Equipment Dealers Association.
In addition to serving as council chairman, Fackler will represent OPE dealers on NAEDA’s board of directors.
“NAEDA is fortunate to have a council made up of outstanding outdoor power equipment dealers,” says Michael Williams, director of NAEDA’s OPE Dealer Council. “George’s experience in this industry will be invaluable to NAEDA in helping the association develop strategies to address the needs of OPE dealers throughout North America.”
The OPE Dealer Council is made up of NAEDA-affiliated dealers who advise the association on matters related to the outdoor power equipment industry. The council also works with manufacturers and other trade associations on industry issues.
The North American Equipment Dealers Association is based in Fenton, Mo. It provides educational, financial, industry relations, legal assistance and legislative services to more than 5.000 dealers in the United States and Canada.
