BROADVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio – Green industry gurus from all reaches of the Buckeye State gathered March 9, 2004, for the 7th annual Landscape Ohio awards banquet, hosted by the Ohio Landscapers Association.
Approximately 210 lawn and landscape professionals attended the event at the Country Lakes Party Center in Broadview Heights, which honored the efforts of various Ohio companies – based on the critiques and calculations of two panels of judges.
A dozen companies garnered 36 awards given in 17 categories, with a handful of Ohio companies collecting more than five honors throughout the evening. Recognition was broken into two awards classifications: honor and merit. Honor awards were granted to those projects scoring at least 90 percent overall. Merit awards reflected an 85-percent score from judges.
