The Ohio Lawn Care Association is encouraging green industry professionals in the state to register for its annual Legislative Day at the Statehouse. The event will be held Feb. 15, 2006 at the statehouse in Columbus, Ohio.
The organization touts the event as an opportunity to meet with state legislators, discuss the importance of the green industry to the state’s economy, and voice the importance of protecting the state’s business climate. The meetings are intended to be informative and non-threatening, so newcomers are welcome. Veteran attendees will take the lead and make it easy to participate.
The day’s agenda will begin with breakfast, followed by presentations from State Senators, Represenattives and other Ohio Personalities. An afternoon lunch will be followed by appointments with legislators and a tour of the statehouse. Morning sessions will be held at the Renaissance Hotel, 50 North Third Street in downtown Columbus. OLCA will arrange afternoon appointments for attendees. To register, contact OLCA with the following information by Feb. 10:
