Carson Industries announced it has been acquired by Oldcastle, the North American division of CRH, a major international producer of construction materials and building products.
Oldcastle companies operate more than 900 locations in 48 states and four Canadian provinces. Carson will become a member of the Oldcastle Precast, family of companies (www.oldcastle.com/precast.htm). Carson Industries had been owned by Norwest Equity Partners, based in Minneapolis, and had experienced substantial revenue and market share growth in recent years. Going forward under Oldcastle Precast, the company intends to maintain current channel partners and sales rep organizations, and to continue building growth.
Carson is a provider of grade level enclosure and equipment pad solutions serving several markets including irrigation, telecommunications, electric utility infrastructure, municipal water and HVAC for nearly 40 years. Carson has four manufacturing facilities in the U.S., one in Europe, and will continue to be headquartered in Glendora, Calif.
