WESTERVILLE, OH – The Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association (ONLA) will bring together more than a dozen award-winning trainers to cover the green industry’s hottest topics during a two-day Credits and Coffee experience at Crowne Plaza Columbus North - Worthington, Ohio, Jan. 13 and 14, 2020.
Credits and Coffee will provide landscape, nursery, and retail garden center professionals up to 10 continuing education credits over four distinct tracks, including: Pests and Diseases (led by The Ohio State University Extension educators); Landscape; Plants; and Retail, Grower, and Nursery Operations.
The sessions aim to keep attendees engaged and entertained with a variety of creative topics, including "Succulents are Sexy," "Plants on Wheels," "Uniting the Seasons," and "Working on the Wild Side." With over 40 sessions to select from, all industry segments will benefit from attending.
“We are thrilled to offer this affordable, one-stop educational experience as well as help kick off a good green year by bringing our industry together for two days of learning and fun,” said Alana Settle, marketing and communications manager for ONLA.
The cost is $260, which includes 10 credit hours, coffee, and lunch. One-hour sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a 15-minute break between each session and a break for lunch. Credit hours will be available for the following certifications: ODA, LA CES, ISA, APLD, AOLP, IA, ICPI, CIT, NALP, and OCNT.
