WESTERVILLE, OHIO - The Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association (ONLA) will present awards to the green industry's best on Jan. 24, 2010 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center (6 - 8 p.m.). The ceremony takes place on the evening prior to opening day of the Central Environmental Nursery Trade Show (CENTS), and will recognize the winners of the 37th ONLA Landscape Awards Program and the recipients of the ONLA Phil Kozel Memorial scholarships.
"We are so proud of our industry professionals, members and students. They provide exceptional landscape designs, services, and innovations across Ohio and the U.S. I can think of no better place to honor these landscape award winners and green industry scholars than during CENTS, among peers who appreciate the quality and dedication of each individual's contribution," said Jennifer Gray, ONLA Interim Executive Director.
Interspersed throughout the awards presentation, guest speaker Bill Hendricks will share "Imagination: The Landscape Alternative," giving attendees the chance to learn how designs begin with shapes both in layout as well as in the shapes of plants.
