The Oregon Association of Nurserymen is changing its name.
The organization's new name – the Oregon Association of Nurseries – will be incorporated into a new logo to debut at the organization’s Farwest Show, Aug. 21-23 in Portland, Ore.
The name change received 71.5 percent approval in a member mail-in election. Out of 75 North American nursery-industry associations, only 5 continue to use the term “nurseryman,” according to OAN.
