Tom Pick recently received an Honorary Life Membership by the Oregon Seed Trade Association.
The honor recognizes the industry professional’s lifelong support of the state association.
Born in the Czech province of Bohemia, Pick began his green-thumbed career with employment at Otto Pick Ag Services. He took over the organization’s presidency when his father died in 1959.
Back in the ‘60s, Pick – along with his brother Martin and friend Kent Wiley – started Pickseed West in Tangent, Ore.
